Mike Adler

Sterling Property Management Owner & Realtor

J. Michael Adler was a 1981 graduate of Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania. Intertwined with his real estate endeavors, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and an MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland in 2000.

In 1984, he read a book on how to buy real estate with no money down. Mike’s entire career extended from reading that first book by Robert Allen called “No Money Down.” He purchased his first property that year and has continued to purchase multiple properties every year since. In 1986, Mike obtained his real estate license in Pennsylvania and then in 1989 his brokers license in Pennsylvania. He originally sold real estate for Wolfe and Shearer Realtors and started his own company, Sterling Property Management, Inc., in 1989. He has owned a RE/MAX franchise, and had as many as 34 sales people in two offices, and has worked tirelessly for more than 37 years. Mike proudly held the title of “Winners Circle Top 5%” (of all sales people) with the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors for many years.

Mike is a proud lifelong member of Salem Stone United Church of Christ, where he has been the President of the Y’s Men’s Club of Carlisle, Salem Stone United Church of Christ; a board member of Hoffman Homes for Youth in Hanover, Pennsylvania; and has held numerous other positions with nonprofit organizations. He resides on a family farm which has been kept in the family for more than 220 years and has a very special wife, Marlene, and two wonderful daughters, Sydney and Shaun. The Good Lord has blessed him with the ability to work well with others and to always treat everyone with dignity and respect. His parents and grandparents instilled the belief that we should love everyone and if we can’t say something nice, not to say anything at all. He is a proud citizen of the United States of America and hopes that everyone appreciates all of the blessings we have in this extraordinary country in which we live.
